About the Ecosystem
- A stakeholder includes anyone who uses or impacts our ecosystem, such as software users, customers and regulatory bodies.
- Partners are proactive stakeholders who engage with the HubDock Project and invest in our ecosystem's growth, gaining exclusive access to the open-source project and other exclusive benefits.
- Partners can choose to become shareholders in the legal entity of the ecosystem, HubDock Ltd, and thus directly contribute to its expansion and strengthen their influence.
Currently underwritten by HubDock Ltd and founder Heiko Saeger, our future financing strategy includes private and institutional investors who share our vision. We forecast revenue from multiple channels, including:
- Sponsorships: Project partners provide financial support for the progress of the project and the expansion of the HubDock ecosystem.
- Stakeholder Capital: Partners can choose to become shareholders in the legal entity of the ecosystem, HubDock Ltd, and thus directly contribute to its expansion and strengthen their influence.
- Store and Cloud Revenues: Commencing with our first application licenses in 2024 and the operation of our SaaS platform "hubdock.cloud" beginning in 2025.
- Business Partner Contributions: Starting in 2025, business partners will contribute an annual fee for ecosystem access, training, and a host of additional content.
By presenting a compelling case where the advantages of cost, benefit, and risk are decisively in HubDock's favor. We will develop migration and integration strategies, including community-developed 'master wheels' for seamless transition from systems like SAP, IBM, Salesforce, etc. The stronger our ecosystem, the more significant the mutual benefits.

About Partnership
- Company & Enterprise Partners: These partners are instrumental as 'Early Adopters' of the HubDock ecosystem. They are typically among the first to deploy new features, provide feedback, and contribute to product evolution.
- Sponsors: Essential to the financial health and expansion of the ecosystem, sponsors provide critical monetary support that fuels continued innovation and development within HubDock.
- Vendor Partners: In the near future, vendor partners will need to undergo a certification process to ensure they meet HubDock's standards for quality and expertise. Their role is multifaceted:
- Software Vendor & Development Companies: These partners are developers of applications that leverage the 'Hub' and connecting with the 'DOCK'. They bring their products to market through the HubDock 'Store', expanding the ecosystem's offerings.
- Consulting Companies: These firms offer expert advice to other companies on how to effectively utilize and integrate with the HubDock ecosystem, facilitating smooth adoption and maximizing the platform's benefits.
- Individual Contributors: These are the highly skilled professionals or selected talents who contribute to the open-source 'Hub' Project, playing critical roles such as:
- Developers: They work on the technical stack of the 'Hub' project, contributing to its development and maintenance.

HubDock open source project
- Flexible Integration with 'The Dock': 'The Dock' serves as a versatile integration framework central to the 'Hub'. Its design takes cues from industry-leading MDM solutions providing the agility necessary to adapt to various enterprise environments.
- Hybrid Master Data Management: 'The Dock' facilitates Hybrid MDM by leveraging both virtual and physical models. This dual approach ensures that master data is managed efficiently, whether it's stored within the 'Hub' or linked externally, providing a single point of truth.
- MDM Workbench: Through the MDM workbench, 'The Dock' offers a robust control center for all MDM activities. It's here that data stewards can manage 'meta' data and entity relationships, ensuring consistency and integrity across the ecosystem.
- Cost-Effective System Integration: By providing a framework that simplifies the integration process, 'The Dock' enables cost-effective connections between the 'Hub' and an array of software systems, making it financially viable for a wide range of businesses.
- Legacy System Migration: In addition to facilitating new integrations, 'The Dock' is designed to assist with the migration from standard software or legacy systems. It provides the tools and processes necessary to transition to the 'Hub' without the limitations often imposed by older technologies, commonly referred to as "vendor shackles."
This approach is tailored to meet the diverse needs of modern enterprises, ensuring that integration into the HubDock ecosystem is seamless, secure, and strategically sound
- Exclusive Partnership Access: The 'Hub' is designed to be a secure and controlled environment, which is why its accessibility on GitHub is restricted to partners. This exclusivity is key to fostering a dedicated space for innovation, where contributions are strategically aligned with the goals of the HubDock ecosystem.
- Quality and Collaboration Control: Managed access allows HubDock to maintain a high standard of quality for contributions and to facilitate focused collaboration among users who are deeply invested in the ecosystem's success.
